Veterans Merit Qualifying
The Qualifying round for the Welsh Veterans
Merit for Glyndwr will be played at Min-y-Don Bowling Club on Wednesday July 13th
at 12.00 midday scratch time
With a total of 19 entrants we have been
allotted 5 qualifiers due to the rather low entries from other areas (Although
is almost the same as in previous years

The WCGBA have concluded the agreement with Co-operative Funeralcare
to sponsor the Veterans Merit events in 2011 and 2012 and also to sponsor the
Welsh Veterans team for the British Championship in Todmorden
on 14 July.
The sponsors will supply banners for the qualifying
rounds in all 4 areas as well as scorecards bearing their insignia etc. Also as
part of the agreement each qualifier will be presented with a commemorative
shirt bearing the sponsor’s logo and entitle ‘WCGBA Veterans Merit 2011’ to
wear at the finals day on a green in the Wrexham area on 27th July
