The Welsh Crown Green Bowling Association went back to school recently when the Sports Development Officer, Peter Hayes, ably assisted by the current Welsh Ladies Merit Champion and until recently a former pupil Kirsty Jones, gave five presentations to the current pupils of Denbigh High School as part of their recent Focus Day.
The pupils listened intently and there is a possibility that the game of Crown Green Bowls might be incorporated into the timetable on an experimental basis for those people who would like to try it.
