JUNE NEWSLETTER

WELSH SENIOR TEAM 

The Welsh Senior Team has made an excellent start to the season defeating North Midlands and Staffordshire. They play Greater Manchester, the home venue being Trefnant, on Sunday 1^st July – the game commences at 2.00 – all support is welcome.

WELSH JUNIOR TEAM 

            The Welsh Junior Team defeated Cheshire in their first match but were defeated by Yorkshire in their second match. They play Debyshire, the home venue being Old Colwyn, on Sunday 8th July – the game commences at 2.00 – all support is welcome.

WELSH LADIES TEAM 

The Welsh Ladies Team were narrowly defeated By South Yorkshire in their first match and were also defeated by Coventry & District in their second match. They play Staffordshire on Sunday 8th July in their next match.

WELSH JUNIOR MERIT 

The Welsh Junior Merit will be held at Sychdyn on Sunday 17th June commence 10.30 – all support is welcome.

WELSH SENIOR MERIT

The Welsh Senior Merit will be held at Criccieth on Sunday 24th June commence 1.00 – all support is welcome.

WELSH LADIES MERIT + WELSH LADIES JUNIOR MERIT

Nicola Dolby defeated Sarah Hey in the Final of the Welsh Ladies Senior Merit held at Min-y-Don on Saturday May 19^th. Kirsty Jones is the Welsh Ladies Junior Merit Champion.

JACK + JEAN ISHERWOOD VETERAN’S MERIT

Glyn Roberts (Bangor) defeated Rod Bethell (Meliden) at Abergele on Wednesday 6^th June to qualify for the final day of the Jack  + Jean Isherwood British Veteran’s Merit.
