A "new look" selection panel for the Wales Men's Senior Team was set up consisting of Chairman Mr Jim Paton, Team Co-ordinator Mr Terry Williams, Captains Mr Gareth Hughes & Mr Roger Morgan and Selection Panel of Mr Chris Slater, Mr Brian Hayes, Mr Barry Harris, Mr Nick Hughes & Mr Andrew Hughes


May 2012 v Greater Manchester

The Home match was played at Betws yn Rhos with Greater Manchester fielding a very strong team, in a hard fought contest Wales ran out victors 225 v 203 with Gary Ellis taking M of M

The Away game was played on the very difficult Irlam Steel green were despite every effort by all the players Wales lost 194 v 243 with Nicky Jones taking the well earned M of M

June 2012. V. Cheshire

The Home game was played at Llay Miners Club in torrential rain with all players playing at a remarkably high standard in overcoming the elements. Wales ran out winners 212 v. 208 with Noel Burrows taking M of M

The Away game was contested on the very difficult Hazel Pear Green, Northwich with Wales losing 203 V 204. Keith Bailey was a deserving winner of M of M

July 2012. V. Potteries & District

The Home game was played at Esclusham BC where Wales enjoyed a very convincing victory by 239 V 189 Mike Riley was the convincing winner of M of M

The Away game was played at Goldenhills BC. S on T where Wales tied the game 217 points each on the difficult surface, Ivor Jones was the worthy M of M

Supplementary Competition at Florence BC, Stoke

Wales lost 141 to 157 against a very strong Shropshire team and then proceeded to secure victory against Isle of Man 151 to 130. Wales then met a very strong North Midlands but during the game torrential rain turned green into a swimming pool which went against the Welsh team who lost 113 v 166
