2011 Season

The winner of the Welsh Veterans Merit was Ken Parry (Flintshire) who beat Peter Maddocks (Flintshire) 21 - 20 in the Final.

The venue for the Welsh Veterans Merit final is: Aston B.C. Queensferry on Wednesday 27th July 12-00 Start.

Below is the results of the The BCGBA Championship of which was played at Todmorden, unfortunately Wales lost all three games, the winners of the competition were Yorkshire.

Below is the Welsh Veterans team selected to play in The BCGBA Championship at Todmorden 14th July 2011

Each of these 10 selected players will be issued with a Welsh shirt bearing also the Co-operative Funeralcare logo in addition to our own; they will also receive a jacket also bearing similar logos.

Incidentally all 16 Veterans qualifying for the Veterans final on 28th July will receive a commemorative shirt bearing the logo of Co-operative Funeralcare and inscribed 'Welsh Veterans Merit Final 2011'.

Merwyn Williams won the Jack and Jean Isherwood Veterans open and now qualifies to play in The Champion of Champions at The Waterloo Hotel in Blackpool see below for scores. ... .

The Welsh Veterans Final will be held on July 28th 2010 At Mochdre Park Bowling Club starting at 12 Noon, draw is below.. .

Mochdre Park welcomes the officials of the WCGBA and all qualifiers in the first WWCBA final to be staged on the green.
Spectators and supporters especially welcome.
Refreshments will be available all day.
