Veterans 2014 Season

Rhos Park won the Veterans Club Championship beating holders Coed-Talon by 29 points, the scores and pictures of the winning team can be seen below.

Wales win the BCGBA Veterans Team Championships.

The Men's Veterans Team won the BCGBA Veterans Team Championships today at Fenton Private Bowling Club in Stoke on Trent. Beating Warwick & Worcester in the first game, Lancashire in the second game and narrowly losing out to South Yorkshire in the final game of the round robin format. 10 squad players were taken by Team Manager Mike Barrodale on the day.

Mike Barrodale thanked all squad members involved. Dewi Jones (Gresford Colliery) and Colin Smith (Aston) who stepped in for the injured Des Hey and Merfyn Jones. Plus Colin Evans and Dewi Jones who didn't play on the day but whose support was much appreciated.
